ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's volleyball team is set to play in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Tournament this Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11 at Wittenberg University.
 
The Thunder enter the conference tournament as the #2 seed and Co-MCVL Regular Season Champions. The Thunder tied with Wittenberg atop the conference standings with an 8-1 record in conference play.
 
The Thunder enter the tournament red-hot, riding a nine game winning streak and have won 13 of their last 15 games. Nine of those wins have come by sweep. Trine has claimed its first two wins over ranked opponents since the restart of the program this season.
 
Trine has qualified for the MCVL Tournament for the sixth consecutive season. The Thunder are 2-4 all-time in MCVL Tournament and won the 2024 edition and earned a berth to the NCAA Tournament. Trine takes on third seeded Calvin University on Friday at 4 p.m. Should the Thunder win, they will play the winner of top seeded Wittenberg and fourth seeded Baldwin Wallace University.
