ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's lacrosse team has announced their schedule for the 2026 season.
The schedule features seven home contests for the Thunder. Ten games are scheduled to be played on the road, with one taking place at a neutral site. All told the team has 17 games scheduled for 2026.
Trine will open the season on the road, traveling to face Wittenberg University on Saturday, February 14. It will be the second matchup between the two teams, with the Thunder defeating the Tigers last season 14-7 at home.
The team doesn't have to wait long to open the home portion of the schedule. They host Carroll (Wis.) University on Saturday, February 21 and then Heidelberg University on Sunday, February 22. The Thunder are a perfect 8-0 against the two teams, with the most recent victories both coming in 2025.
The next three games are on the road with Trine going to Ohio Northern University on February 25, Oberlin College on February 28, and Otterbein University on March 3. They follow up with two more home contests in quick succession. The first is Cornell (Iowa) College on Thursday, March 12 and the second comes two days later on Saturday, March 14 against Edgewood University.
Three final road games, rounds out the non-conference portion of the year. They head to Hanover College on March 18 and Capital University on March 28 for true road games. They head to Cincinnati for a neutral site contest against Centenary (La.) College on Friday, March 20.
During the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) the Thunder will host Calvin University (April 1), Hope College (April 8) and Alma College (April 17). They will hit the road to face Adrian College (April 4), Kalamazoo College (April 11) and Albion College (April 22).
