CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. – The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League has announced Karl Both as the conference's Offensive Player of the Week. This is Both's first Player of the Week award from the MCVL.
 
Both led the Thunder to a win over St. Vincent on Saturday with a pair of blocks to break a 25-all tie in the fourth set to secure the win. He added 12 kills on .500 hitting and notched an ace. He added seven blocks in the match. Both is hitting .437 on the season and leads the MCVL with 18 total blocks and 1.0 blocks per set.
 
The Thunder travel to Illinois Wesleyan for a tri-match this weekend against the Titans and the #10-ranked Aurora University Spartans.
