ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Trine University men's track and field team sent senior thrower Theodore Samra to the Augustana Midwest Twilight on Thursday to try to earn a chance to compete at the NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships.

In the shot put, Samra finished 11th with a score of 15.15 meters (49' 8.50"), which did not surpass his best toss of the season.

The selections to the NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships will be unveiled on Friday, May 19 on www.ncaa.com.
