Jake Gladieux Qualifies for 60-Meter Hurdle Finals at Indoor Nationals

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – At the 2023 NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships, Jake Gladieux of the Trine University men's track and field team was in action, looking for his second consecutive All-American in the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor portion of the schedule.

Gladieux ran an 8.15-second time in Friday's prelims to secure eighth-place and qualify for Saturday's event finals. He finished in a tie with Deyton Love from Wartburg College and Josh Sampson from Bethel University (Minnesota), but going to the thousandths of a second, Gladieux was one-thousandths of a second faster than the ninth-place scorer Sampson to make it to the finals.

The event finals in the 60-meter hurdles take place on Saturday, March 11 at 11:30 a.m.
