ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Trine University men's track and field team sent a pair of student-athletes to Grand Valley State University on Friday to compete in the Holiday Open to kick off the 2021-22 indoor season.

Noah Acker [Kendallville, Ind. / East Noble] and Zach Brickler [Indianapolis, Ind. / Ben Davis] both were participants in the 5000 meter run. Acker completed his race with a time of 15:14.56 and Brickler finished with a time of 15:29.01. The senior Acker set a new personal best time in the event.

The Trine men compete more on Saturday, December 4 at the University of Mount Union in the Toy Drive Invite.
