ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Trine University women's lacrosse team traveled to face Concordia University Ann Arbor and came up short of the competition losing the game 15-5.

The Cardinals recorded the first four goals of the contest before senior Lilly Dusek (Zionsville, Ind. / Zionsville) put the Thunder on the board after taking advantage of a free position shot. It would end up being the team's lone goal of the first half and they would trail 8-1 at the intermission.

The second half saw Trine score four goals, but they would surrender seven and fall in the contest by the score of 15-5.

Dusek led the way with two goals adding a second free position goal in the last ten minutes of the game. Three other members of Trine picked up a goal each to finish off the scoring summary for the team. Freshman Ella Dougherty (Lowell, Mich. / Lowell), sophomore Chloe Vuno (Geneva, Ill. / St. Francis) and junior Shea Rayburn (Attica, Ind. / Attica) each put up a goal in the contest.

The Thunder fall to 0-5 following the loss. The team will host Taylor on Tuesday, March 10 in a 7 p.m. contest.
