GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Trine University women's lacrosse team traveled to face Calvin College and returned home with a 20-1 loss.

The Knights scored the first 20 goals of the contest, taking a 16-0 lead into halftime before pulling ahead to 20-0 in the second half.

The Thunder scored their lone goal of the contest in the final minute of the contest. Sophomore Shea Rayburn (Attica, Ind. / Attica) came up with the goal, capitalizing on a free position attempt.

Trine falls to 6-9 overall and 2-5 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play. They will finish off the season Saturday, April 27 when they travel to face Hope College. The contest is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
