ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine women's tennis team was defeated by Saint Mary's 9-0 in MIAA-action Tuesday.

Sloan Davis (Olivet, Mich. / Olivet) and Kinnsey Pass (Lafayette, Ind. / Jefferson) provided the toughest match of the night for the Thunder. Davis and Pass were able to win five points in the No. 3 doubles flight, but were defeated by an 8-5 final.

Trine fell to 3-9 overall and 0-3 in conference matches. SMC is now 10-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

The Thunder host Alma this Saturday, Apr. 16 at 2 p.m.
