GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.-- The Trine women's tennis team closed out the 2013-14 campaign with a 7-2 loss at Calvin Saturday afternoon on the Strikwerda Tennis Courts.

Jessica Huhnke (Newburgh, Ind./Castle) closed out her Trine career with a victory. The senior won in dominating fashion in straight sets to close out the season with an 8-7 mark. She concludes her career with a 39-16 overall mark in singles play. Marissa German (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) picked up the win at no. 5 singles. German closes her freshman campaign 6-6 overall, including 4-3 in MIAA matches.

Lauren Schlueter (Akron, Ohio/Revere) went to three sets in the final match of her Thunder career, but couldn't come up with the win. Schlueter concludes her Trine career with 31 wins.

The Knights swept doubles play and got four singles wins to earn the victory. Calvin concludes their season 4-4 in the MIAA and 6-11 overall.

The Thunder finish the season 7-12 overall and 3-5 in MIAA matches.
