ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's lacrosse team and head coach Ryan Kuhn have introduced Chris Molnar as the program's next assistant coach.
"We are thrilled to have Chris back to start this journey in his lacrosse career. As someone who has been a part of this program and conference he has a great understanding of the challenge ahead," said Kuhn, "Chris was pivotal as a student-athlete to this program's evolution the past four years. I am very excited for him to foster further evolution as our assistant coach."
Molnar takes on the coaching position following the completion of a successful career for the Thunder. The 2026 graduate was a captain for the team for two years. He finished his career with 42 goals and 12 assists while recording 177 shots. Two of those goals were game winners. He also recorded 55 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers.
"I am extremely grateful for this opportunity," said Molnar, "As a student-athlete, I got to witness firsthand the growth of this program under Coach Kuhn. We started as a team full of guys that played lacrosse and have become a program that expects to play postseason games. I'm excited to get to work and help this program to continue to grow."
