LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced the rosters for the 2026 USILA Senior All-Star game, with Trine University men's lacrosse represented both on the field and sidelines.
J'Oshua Shaw and Danny Kelly will both suit up for the North team, while head coach Ryan Kuhn and assists Sam Puzevic and Vinnie Lang will lead the team from the sidelines.
Shaw earns the spot after a career season for the Thunder that culminated with him earning his first selection to an All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) team. The West Lafayette, Ind. native is set to serve as a short stick defensive midfielder, where he played for Trine. He led the team this season with 72 groundballs while sitting second with 25 caused turnovers.
Kelly will take the field as a defender, where he solidified himself as one of the best to wear the Thunder jersey. The Cedar Lake, Ind. native led the team with 45 caused turnovers this season, becoming the all-time record holder in the category and ending his career with 122. He was also third on the team with 63 groundballs.
Kuhn and his staff have led the team to unprecedented success, securing a 14-5 record this season after going 14-6 a season ago. It is the first time the program has had double-digit win totals in back-to-back seasons. The two seasons are also just the third and fourth double-digit win totals. Kuhn has made a huge impact on the Thunder, especially on defense. This season the team boasts the second best scoring defense in the nation, with the 2025 squad leading the country in the category. Kuhn also became the program's winningest coach in just his fifth season at the helm.
The game is scheduled to be played tomorrow, Friday, May 22 at 4 p.m. and will be hosted by Randolph Macon College. You can watch the game online or follow along via livestats.
