FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Garrett James its MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week. This is James' fourth MIAA Golfer of the Week award this season.
 
James led the Thunder to a third-place finish at the 35 team Illinois Wesleyan Invitational this weekend. James placed 14^th overall with a round of 146 strokes. James is the 28^th ranked individual in the country and the highest in the MIAA. As a team the Thunder are ranked 44^th nationally with new rankings set to debut this Thursday.
 
The Thunder head to Hope College's Bob Ebels Invitational this weekend at The Meadows at GVSU Golf Course. Tee time is set for 10 a.m. Friday.
