FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Jake Bilby its MIAA Golfer of the Week. This is Bilby's first career MIAA Athlete of the Week award. The sophomore claimed medalist honors at the A.C. Eddy International this weekend at Zollner Golf Course and Glendarin Hills Golf Club.
 
Bilby played each course at level par, shooting a 71 on Zollner on Friday and a 72 at Glendarin Hills on Saturday for a weekend total of 143 strokes. Bilby made eight birdies and 19 pars on the weekend.
 
The Thunder now focus their preparation on the MIAA Spring Finale on April 29 and 30. The Thunder hold a two-stroke lead over Calvin University currently. The conference champion will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
