ANGOLA, Ind – The Trine University women's basketball team moved up two spots to 18th in the latest D3hoops.com national poll following a pair of victories last week. The Thunder held steady at 22nd in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association rankings.
 
Trine leaped Ripon College and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in the poll. Trine is one of two MIAA representatives in the polls, Hope ranks 11th in both rankings. 
 
The Thunder's win streak extended to fifteen games with wins over Saint Mary's and Calvin last week. Trine's win over Calvin clinched back-to-back MIAA Regular Season Championships, and the #1 seed in next week's MIAA Tournament. The Thunder have won 33 consecutive MIAA contests, the longest streak in program history and the second best streak in conference history.
 
Trine closes out the regular season with a trip to the mitten to take on Hope at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
