FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced Erin Sherwood as its MIAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Sherwood led the Thunder to three wins last week and claimed MVP honors at DePauw's Amy Hasbrook Memorial Tournament.
 
Sherwood tallied 45 points on 19-of-40 shooting (47.5%) over the trio of wins, she collected nine rebounds and 10 steals over the stretch and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Sherwood led the team in scoring in each game including 20 points in Trine's dominant win over Elmhurst on December 30^th. She scored 14 points in Trine's 71-48 win over Saint Mary's that pushed the Thunder's MIAA winning streak to 21 games.
