ADRIAN, Mich. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced its men's hockey "3 Stars of the Week," with Trine's Kyle Kozma among those recognized.

Along with teammate Alexander Babich, the pair represent the first members of the Thunder to earn Star of the Week honors this season. This is the third time the senior goalie has earned weekly honors from the conference.

The Vaughan, Ontario native, made the start in net against nationally ranked Adrian College this past week. He led the team to a 4-1 victory in net with 40 saves. After allowing the one goal in the first period, Kozma shut out the opposition through the final two stanzas as the offense got going on the other end of the ice.

The win helped propel the Thunder back into the national rankings, after dropping out for the first time this season.
