FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced Sidney Swick as their Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. This marks Swick's first career MIAA Athlete of the Week honor. Swick and Blake Overmyer combined to sweep the MIAA Cross Country Athlete of the Week awards this week.
 
Swick led the Thunder to the team title at the Mastodon Alumni Open on Saturday, she placed third overall in 18:13.3. Her time is the second fastest 5k time in program history. Trine earned the team title over three NCAA Division I opponents.
 
Cross Country will take this weekend off before heading back to PFW for the Rumble in the Fort, the first 6k race of the season.
