NEW ORLEANS – The Trine University women's cross country team held steady in this week's United State Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll. The Thunder remain at #15, the highest ranking in program history.
 
The Thunder did move up three spots in the FloTrack.com rankings. Trine opened the season at #24 in the FloTrack poll, but moved up to #21 in this week's edition. FloTrack also publishes individual rankings in their polls. Sidney Swick ranks 31^st and Bailey Puckett is 41^st. Puckett moved up four spots from the preseason poll, while Swick makes her debut after a personal best of over a minute at the Purdue Fort Wayne Rumble in the Fort.
 
The Thunder take to the course on Saturday in split squad action. A group will head to the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic and the rest of the team will travel to Calvin for the Knight Invite. The race in Louisville will start at 11:00 a.m. and the Calvin meet will start at 10:00 a.m.
