NEW ORLEANS – The Trine University women's cross country program has reached new heights in this week's edition of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Poll. The Thunder are ranked 15th in the country, the highest ranking in program history.

The Thunder move up six spots from last week following a dominant showing at the Purdue Fort Wayne Rumble in the Fort. Trine toppled six Division I opponents in what was also a record setting day. Six Thunder runners established new top 20 all-time program marks. Sidney Swick led the way, claiming the individual title on her way to a new #2 program mark. Eleanor Young, Bailey Puckett, Chloe Goodrich, Courtney Study, and Grace Dubsky all raced their way up the cross country record book. They now rank third, fourth, sixth, tenth, and twelfth in program history.

The Thunder will have an opportunity to move further up the ranking at next weeks Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic, one of Division III's most competitive early season competitions.
