FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced Blake Overmyer as their Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. This marks Overmyer's first career MIAA Athlete of the Week honor.
 
Overmyer led the Thunder to a second-place finish at the Mastodon Alumni Open on Saturday, he placed fifth overall in 15:52.2.
 
Cross Country will take this weekend off before heading back to PFW for the Rumble in the Fort, the first 8k race of the season.
