FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich – For the second time in as many weeks, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced Blake Overmyer as their Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. Overmyer had not been selected as MIAA Runner of the Week previously now had two honors to his name. 
 
Overmyer ran his way to 8th in program history on Saturday morning at the PFW Rumble in the Fort. He placed seventh in the 8k race, was the fourth collegian, and second among Division III runners. His time of 24:57.3 is a new personal best of 34.5 seconds.
 
Cross Country will take this weekend off to prepare for the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic on October 4th.
