ROCK ISLAND, ILL. – The Trine University men's cross country team placed 19^th of 36 teams at this afternoon's Augustana Interregional Rumble. The race featured 13 teams ranked in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association poll. Blake Overmyer finished in 48^th place to lead the Thunder.
 
Overmyer crossed in 25:21.4 as he continued the best season of his career in a Thunder uniform. Ryan Hoopingarner crossed second for the Thunder in 26:02.0 he was followed by Tyler Hartleroad in 26:23.2, Clay Batio in 26:28.6, and Nicholas Spielman in 26:36.7.
 
Trine also sent a contingent of runners to the Oberlin Interregional Rumble where they place 14^th of 26 teams. Seth Bakker led the Thunder with a 49^th place finish in 26:41.4.
 
Trine is off next weekend to prepare for the MIAA Championships on November 1^st.
