ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's tennis team has released their schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Last season saw the Thunder finish with an 11-11 overall record while going 4-3 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play. They secured a berth in the MIAA Tournament and made it to the semifinal round for the second straight season.
This year the team opens with a pair of road dates. They start by traveling to face Manchester University on Wednesday, September 3, for the first of two matches against the Spartans scheduled for the season. They follow up with a trip to Franklin College for a dual against their hosts and Webster University on Saturday, September 6.
The next week sees the team host their only home matches of the fall. The home opener comes against the Indiana University East on Wednesday, September 10 with a quick follow up against Taylor University on Friday, September 12.
The final dual of the fall comes at Anderson (Ind.) University on Tuesday, September 23. The match will be played simultaneously with the women's team at Anderson High School.
The final competition of the fall sends individuals to the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Kalamazoo College.
After the extended winter break, the Thunder head to Orlando, Fla. for their spring break trip, featuring at least four matches. Details are still to be determined at this time.
Two home non-conference duals follow the trip south, first with Manchester coming to town on Wednesday, March 11 and then with the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday, March 21.
The team hops into MIAA play for the rest of the season. They will host Adrian College (March 28), Kalamazoo College (April 4), Calvin University (April 14) and Alma College (April 19), while traveling to face Albion College (March 31), Hope College (April 11) and The University of Olivet (April 22).
