TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced their 2025 Division III Men's academic awards, with Trine University represented on both lists. Seven members of the team were named Scholar Athletes while the program secured All-Academic status.

Senior Caleb Morris, juniors Nicholas Jen and Elijah Schilthuis, sophomore Leyton Byler and freshmen Drew Hackney, Asher Monson and Emmett Wirth were all named Scholar-Athletes. Honorees must achieve a 3.5 grade point average for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. Division III saw 1,115 student-athletes received the distinction this season.

The Thunder were one of 135 men's tennis programs awarded the All-Academic Team distinction. To be selected the varsity roster of the team must secure a grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale.
