GENEVA, Ohio – The National Collegiate Athletic Association has announced the qualifiers for their 2025 Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships beginning next week. The Trine University Track and Field team has four qualifiers in four separate events. Indoor qualifiers
Bailey Puckett and
Ethan Spahr return in their respective events to headline the Thunder's selections.

Spahr qualified for the indoor championships in the heptathlon and posted a strong performance on day one. He makes his first outdoor championships appearance in the decathlon. He enters the meet seeded 8
th with his school record point total of 6,639. Spahr will compete on Thursday and Friday. Competition begins at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

Puckett returns to the NCAA Championships in the 1500-meter run. Puckett qualified in the mile during indoor season and finished 18
th. She'll look to improve on that finish next week. Her time of 4:28.87 ranks second in program history. The preliminary round of the 1500 is set for 5:50 p.m. on Thursday. The top five finishers in each of the heats will qualify for Saturday's final at 1:35 p.m.

Zion Jackson makes his first NCAA Championships appearance and will compete in the 110-meter hurdles. Jackson's time of 14.16 seconds is second in program history and is 10
th best entering the championships. The preliminary is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. on Friday, the winner of each of the three heats and the next five fastest times will qualify for the final on Saturday at 1:50 p.m.

Sidney Swick will compete in the 10000-meter run in her first NCAA Championships appearance. Swick topped the school record two weeks ago at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invitational, she finished in 35:07.37. She will compete at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday in the final round of the event.
