NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Trine University Women's Track and Field team competed at the Manchester University Invitational on Saturday afternoon. A group of distance runners and throwers made the trip.
Mia Griesmeyer took third in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 12:28.41.
Trine took five of the top seven spots in the 1500-meter run.
Sidney Swick won in 4:48.57,
Eleanor Young was close behind in second at 4:49.11.
Grace Dubsky took fifth in 5:00.08,
Chloe Goodrich was sixth in 5:02.64 and
Hannah Parker took seventh, finishing in 5:02.92.
Alyssa Seiter won the 5000-meter run in 20:45.39.
The 4x400-meter relay team of
Bailey Puckett,
Courtney Study,
Piper Barker, and Young was second in 4:15.13.
Abby Sanner was fifth in the discus with a best toss of 37.88 meters/124' 3", she took third in the hammer throw with a toss of 42.44 meters/139' 3" and fifth in the shot put with a best mark of 11.85 meters/38' 10.5".
