Andrews' Record Highlights 15 All-Time Marks for Women's Track and Field at Hillsdale

HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Trine track and field team set 15 new top 10 marks at the three day Hillsdale College GINA Relays. Olivia Andrews led the record setting meet with a second program record in as many meets in the pole vault. Trine placed fifth of 17 teams with 57 points.
 
Andrews won the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.72 meters/12' 2.5", a mark that ranks 21st nationally. The MIAA Field Athlete of the Week leads the MIAA. Kelah Hodge finished ninth in the vault, clearing 3.12m/10' 2.75"
 
Sophia Peter and Ariana Todd stormed on to the all-time list in the 100-meter dash in 12.41 and 12.44 seconds, those marks rank fourth and seventh respectively. Peter bettered her #2 mark in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.88, becoming the second woman in Trine history to break 15 seconds in the race.
 
Kaylee Birely raced to a personal best 59.06 seconds in the 400-meter dash, bettering her #6 all-time mark. Alyssa Possehn now checks in at #10 all-time in the 400 after stopping the clock in 1:00.58.
 
Fresh off a school record of her own in the 1500-meters, MIAA Runner of the Week Bailey Puckett etched her name on the Trine record book in two other events. She ranks second in the 5000-meter run with a new personal best of 16:59.35 and third in the 800-meter run in 2:13.26. Taryn Pratt joins her on the 800 list in fourth with a time of 2:15.88. Puckett was second in the 800 and 5000 and Pratt was fourth.
 
Eleanor Young joined Puckett in the 5000-meters and crossed in third place in a new #4 all-time mark of 17:22.88.
 
Mia Griesmeyer and Hope Wilkes finished third and fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Griesmeyer ranks third in Trine history with a personal best of 11:10.45, Wilkes is 10th all-time in 12:23.98.
 
Brooklyn Kerry leaped 5.51m/18' 1" to move to second all-time in the long jump, she placed seventh with her effort.
 
Trine heads back to Hillsdale on Saturday for a final tune up before the MIAA Championships.
