FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced its latest MIAA Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
Olivia Andrews claimed the MIAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career.
Andrews won the Indiana DIII Championships on Saturday with a personal best jump of 3.68 meters/12' .75" in the pole vault. The vault established a new program record and ranks first in the MIAA by one foot. Andrews in now ranked 7
th all-time in MIAA history and is currently 22
nd in NCAA Division III. Andrews is now the first woman in Trine history to clear both 11 and 12 feet in the pole vault.
The Thunder will split squads next weekend competing at Hillsdale College, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Otterbein University.
