Andrews Sets Program Record, Leads Women's Track and Field at Cedarville.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Olivia Andrews took down the program record in the Pole Vault to lead the Trine University Women's Track and Field team in a split squad weekend. A small group of distance runners competed at the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis while the rest of the team was at the Cedarville Yellow Jacket Open.
 
Andrews, who now owns both the indoor and outdoor records, cleared 3.34 meters/10' 11.5" to take 11th place in a field littered with Division II and III National Qualifiers.
 
In St. Louis, Bailey Puckett took 14th place in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:35.38. Sidney Swick was 12th in her heat of the 5000-meter run in 17:19.52, Eleanor Young was fifth in her heat and finished in 17:54.67. Both of those times set new personal bests.
 
In Ohio, Emma Forker was third in the long jump with a jump of 5.38 meters/17' 8".
 
Piper Barker took seventh in the 3000-meter Steeplechase with a time of 13:24.33.
 
Courtney Study wass 15th in the 1500-meter run, crossing in 4:53.60.
 
Mackenzie Miller set a new personal best of 12.41 seconds in the 100-meter dash.
 
Adrianne Jackson finished the 400-meter hurdles in 1:07.80 for a 12th place finish.
 
Emmaline Leatherman and Isabel Ferguson took fourth and fifth in the triple jump with jumps of 10.25 meters/33' 8.75" and 10.14 meters/33' 3.25" respectively.
 
The 4x400-meter relay team of Emily Wahl, Sophia Altman, Kelly Valle, and Courtney Study took seventh in 4:21.88.
 
Trine will compete at the Manchester University Spartan Invitational next weekend.
