ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University Women's Basketball team finished the season #17 in both the D3hoops.com and Women's Basketball Coaches Association final top 25 polls. Trine earned 203 points in the D3hoops poll and 93 points in the WBCA poll. National Champions New York University took all the first place votes in both polls. Trine was the lone representative from the MIAA in both polls.
 
Trine finished their season 25-4, 16-0 in MIAA play and 14-1 at home. The 25 wins are tied for the third most in program history. The Thunder's 23 regular season, 16 MIAA, and 14 home wins all tied program records for a single season. This marked Trine's first unbeaten MIAA regular season and outright MIAA Regular Season Championship since 2018-19. Trine earned their eighth consecutive bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Thunder have won at least one game in all eight NCAA appearances and are 14-7 all time in the tournament.
