SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Trine University Women's Track and Field team placed sixth at the Wittenberg Steemer Showcase this afternoon. Bailey Puckett took second in the 3000-meter run to lead the Thunder.
 
Puckett crossed the line in 10:07.32 to take silver with Sidney Swick close behind in 10:13.32 for fourth place. Both women set new personal bests in the race.
 
Halle Overmire also took fourth place, finishing the 800-meter run in 2:20.64.
 
Chloe Goodrich took second in the 5000-meter run in 18:13.03 and Hannah Parker was sixth in 18:24.10, both setting new personal bests.
 
Abby Sanner took fourth in the shot put with a toss of 11.91 meters/39' 1" and third in the weight throw with a heave measuring 15.19 meters/49' 10".
 
Trine return to the ARC on Friday to host the annual Mrs. G Invitational.
