LILBURN, Ga. – The Trine University women's basketball team moved to #19 in the WBCA Coaches' Poll this week. Trine dropped two spots, leaping Montclair St. but were passed by Illinois Wesleyan, Christopher Newport, and WashU. The Thunder are receiving 27 votes in the D3hoops.com poll. In the MIAA, Trine is behind Hope in both polls, the Dutch are #9 in each. The Thunder rank ahead of Calvin in the WBCA poll and received just six less votes than the Knights in the D3hoops.com poll.   

Trine used a 22 point advantage in the second quarter to cruise to a 65-46 victory over Kalamazoo in their MIAA opener. 
 
Trine heads to The University of Olivet on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. to continue league play.
