FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Garrett James its Men's Golfer of the Week. James earned medalist honors in Trine's final event of the fall, the 2025 Region V preview, in another dramatic playoff victory.
 
James fired a 36-hole round of 151 strokes, in windy conditions at the Catawaba Country Club. He then made par on hole seventeen in the playoff to claim his fourth medalist honor of the fall. James concludes the fall with a 73.42 stroke average. He ranks second individually in the MIAA and leads the Thunder, who hold a two stroke lead over Calvin following the fall season.
