ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University Women's Track and Field team continued their season at today's Sean Brady Alumni Invitational, scoring 23 top three finishes and 7 event victories. The meet was not team scored, teams competing were Albion, Adrian, Heidelberg, Toledo, and Trine. A group of alumni also competed.

Ariana Todd and
Aniyah Small placed second and third in the 60-meter dash, finishing in 8.22 and 8.23 seconds.

Peyton Schuring was third in the 200-meter dash, clocking 28.67 seconds.

Josie Barriger and
Adrianne Jackson took first and third in the 400-meter dash.
Â
Bailey Puckett,
Courtney Study, and
Piper Barker swept the podium in the 600-meter run. Puckett finished in a winning time of 1:42.73.

It was another all Thunder podium in the 800-meter and 3000-meter runs.
Halle Overmire,
Kelly Valle, and
Sophia Altman got it done in the half-mile, while
Sidney Swick,
Eleanor Young, and
Chloe Goodrich rounded out the top three in the 3k.

Puckett and Study also raced the mile, finishing 2-3 in 5:09.55 and 5:12.36.

Sophia Peter, Jackson, and
Savannah Garcia completed the final sweep of the day in the 60-meter hurdles.

Overmire, Altman, Valle, and
Emily Wahl teamed up to take the gold in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:19.84.

In the field events,
Isabel Ferguson and
Emmaline Leatherman finished 2-3 in the high jump while
Olivia Andrews took the win in the pole vault, clearing 3.15 meters/10' 4".

Abby Sanner won the weight throw and was second in the shot put. Sanner tossed the weight 15.28 meters/50' 1.75" and put the shot 11.77 meters/38' 7.5".

Trine heads to Hillsdale for the Wide Track Classic next weekend.
