FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Trine University Men's Cross Country team claimed the team title at the Sodexo Grizzly XC Invitational this afternoon. Sophomore
Max Van Huis was the Thunder's top finisher placing fifth with a time of 25:32.88 in the 8-kilometer race. The meet was hosted by Franklin College at the Blue River Park.

Ryan Hoopingarner was close behind in seventh, finishing in 25:36.55, fellow juniors
Robert Lohman and Tyler Hartelroad were 21
st and 25
th in 26:07.74 and26:13.26, respectively. Sophomore
Blake Overmyer rounded out the Thunder's top finishers in 28
th with a time of 26:19.59. Overmyer's time was a new personal best.
As a team, Trine scored 83 points, 14 ahead of second place Rose-Hulman with 97. The Thunder also toppled two teams ranked ahead of them in the Great Lakes Regional poll in Case Western and Ohio Northern.
