JOLIET, Ill. – In the Fighting Chance Invite at the University of Saint Francis, sophomore Bailey Puckett competed in the 1500-meter run in an attempt to qualify for the NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships.

Puckett placed 12th in her section with a time of 4:44.29, a mark that misses her personal best time.

There is one more week of last chance events before the field is set on Friday, May 17.
