CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Trine University women's track and field team continued its impressive season with strong performances amongst Division I and II competition at the WashU Distance Carnival and the Cedarville University Yellow Jacket Open.
Chloe Goodrich posted a 12
th place finish in a field of 55 runners in the 10000-meter run and was third amongst Division III runners. Her time of 36:08.60 ranks third in program history.
Grace Dubsky was 25
th in the race with a #5 all-time mark of 36:44.81.
All-American
Bailey Puckett was seventh in the 1500-meters with a time of 4:31.39.
Eleanor Young moved to fifth in program history with a 17:42.98 effort in the 5000-meter run.
Trine placed 20
th of 22 teams at the Cedarville Yellow Jacket Open with 4 points. Ashland University claimed the team title with 133 points.
Mia Griesmeyer placed fifth in the 3000-steeplechase with a time of 11:37.79 and now ranks fourth in program history.
Sophia Altman was 11
th in 12:12.26.
Olivia Foster took ninth in the javelin with a mark of 31.14 meters/102' 2".
Olivia Andrews was tenth in the pole vault, clearing 3.49m/11' 5.25".
Halle Overmire took 13
th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.70.
Trine heads to the Manchester University Spartan Invitational next Saturday.
