BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –
Bailey Puckett earned All-America status in the women's mile this afternoon at the 2026 NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships. Puckett finished in seventh place with a time of 4:50.06. The top eight finishers earned All-America honors.
Puckett is competing at her third NCAA Track and Field Championships. She placed 18
th in the same event last year during indoor season and was ninth in the 1500-meters during last outdoor season. Puckett is now a two-time All-American and five time national qualifier, having qualified twice to the NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships.
Puckett becomes the 18
th All-American in program history and is the fourth All-American in the event. Evie Miller (Bultemeyer) owns the other three. Puckett is the first Trine woman since Miller's 2022 steeplechase national championship to earn first-team All-America status.
