FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced the results of the Women's Outdoor Track and Field Coaches' Poll. The Trine University women's track and field team was picked third in the poll.
Trine's third place selection comes after their third-place finish at the Indoor MIAA Championships. Calvin University is picked as the unanimous favorite with 49 points and seven first place votes. Calvin's first place vote went to Hope College who was picked second in the poll with 43 points.
Trine earned 37 points in the rankings. Alma and Adrian Colleges rounded out the top five with Alma College, Kalamazoo College, and The University of Olivet rounding out the poll.
Senior All-American
Bailey Puckett will look to lead Trine to its first outdoor MIAA conference title on April 30 and May 1 at Hope College. Puckett helped the Thunder cross country team to its first conference title this fall.
