ADRIAN, Mich. – The Trine University men's wrestling team finished the dual portion of their season with a 33-6 loss to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) champions from Adrian College.

After the first match of the evening went to the Bulldogs, Joseph Langeman earned a win for the Thunder in the 133 pound match. The senior battled back from an early deficit to finish with the 7-6 decision.

Jett Boots had a more convincing victory, scoring a takedown in the final period to finish with an 11-7 decision. The win tied the dual at six, but the rest of the weights went in favor Adrian as they pulled away for the 33-6 win.

The Thunder fall to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in MIAA play. The program will host the Mid State Championships on Saturday, February 17 with members of the team also competing in the event.
