FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced the 2026 Wrestling All-MIAA awards winners with Kaden Golder representing Trine University.
The junior from Ormond Beach, Fla. became just the fourth member of the program to secure All-MIAA status since wrestling returned to the conference in 2018-19.
Golder was undefeated in MIAA play at 125. Against the University of Olivet he was one of just two winners, pinning his opponent in the fifth minute of the contest. He won his match against Alma College with a 9-2 decision as the Thunder rolled to a 31-6 victory. He won in the other two conference matches by default.
Outside of MIAA play, Golder's best finish came at this past weekend's Mid-States Invitational where he was fourth in his weight class. He finished the day with two wins by fall and a major decision. At the Al Hanke Invitation he finished sixth with two tech falls and a major decision.
The Thunder finished the MIAA slate with a 2-2 record, capturing third place in the final standings. Members of the team will next compete when they travel to the NCAA Central Regional beginning on Friday, February 27.
