ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Trine Men's Cross Country Team placed 19^th of 40 teams today at the Augustana Interregional Meet. #2 Wartburg claimed the team title and Christian Patzka of Wisconsin-Whitewater was the top individual.
 
Trine's top finisher was Max Van Huis crossing the line in 43^rd place with a time of 25:11.9. Ryan Hoopingarner was close behind in 45^th, finishing in 25:13.4.  Robert Lohman was third for the Thunder with an eight second personal best, breaking 26 minutes for the first time with a time of 25:59.7. Gehrig Longe and Blake Overmyer rounded out the top finishers for the Thunder with times of 26:46.5 and 26:51.7, respectively.
 
Trine is off next weekend before heading to Grand Rapids on November 2^nd for the MIAA XC Championships, hosted by Clavin. The race is set to start at 11:00 a.m.
