Box Score

ANGOLA, Ind. - It was the perfect ending to the annual Ketner Classic for the Trine men's soccer team as they defeated Manchester College 3-1. With the win, the Thunder captured the title with 18 total points out of a possible 20. The Thunder are now 3-0-1 on the season.

After a scoreless 15 minutes to open the second half, junior Curtis Holcom (Converse, Ind./Oak Hill) scored for the third straight game when he found the back of the net off an assist from senior Foster Webb (Auburn, Ind./Dekalb). Just five minutes later Ohanesian netted his own goal on a header off a cross pass from freshman Karston Shephard (Plainfield, Ind./Plainfield).

The Spartans ended the shutout in the 73rd minute when Ryan Lincoln scored off a loose ball on a rebounded shot. The goal ended senior goalkeeper Nick Thon's (South Haven, Mich./South Haven) consecutive shutout streak at 373:56 minutes. Thon made six saves in the win.
