BRIGHTON, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Jake Bilby and Lance Decker as co-MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week following their record setting days at last week's Ken Venturi Invitational. This is Decker's first career Athlete of the Week honor and Bilby's second.

The duo shot identical rounds of 134 strokes over Tuesday's 36-hole tournament at Zollner Golf Course. Their effort bettered the previous record by four shots, which had stood for 35 years. Decker's round included just one bogey and Bilby fired a dozen birdies. The pair led the team to new 18- and 36-hole records, shattering the two round mark by 29 shots and the single round mark by three shots. 

The Thunder return to Zollner Golf Course tomorrow afternoon for the first of four MIAA Jamborees.
