LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the nine recipients of 2026 NCAA Division III Rawlings Gold Glove Awards ®, presented by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Karley Trine becomes the first Trine University softball player to earn the award, given to the best defensive players in the sport. The nine recipients of the award, one for each position, are selected by the NFCA All-American Committees who utilize video and fielding statistics to make their picks.

Jo Trine has started nearly every game for the Thunder in right field over the past four seasons, often battling through lingering injuries. The Kokomo, Ind. native enters this week with a perfect fielding percentage in 2026. She has also posted five assists from the outfield, ninth most by any player on the team.

While not contributing to the award, Jo Trine is also a threat on the offensive side of the ball. She boasts a .422 batting average, a .436 on-base percentage and a .711 slugging percentage. She has recorded 54 hits including 13 doubles, three triples and six home runs. Along the way she has accumulated 34 runners batted in.

The Thunder begin competition at the final site of the 2026 NCAA Division III Softball Championship today, Thursday, May 28. The game against Belhaven University is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will be played at the Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Va.
