LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced the recipients of their 2026 NFCA Division III All-American awards with three members of the Thunder earning first team honors.
Senior Debbie Hill earned first team honors as the Joan Joyce Utility/Pitcher award winner, her third time in four seasons receiving the named slot on the first team. Classmate Emma Lee was selected in the outfield, while junior Tyra Marcum was an at-large first baseman.
This is the historic fourth time that Hill has earned NFCA All-American honors, the third on the first team. No other Trine player has earned the award all four seasons on the team. The New Whiteland, Ind. native has capped her impressive career with another incredible season in 2026, especially offensively. During the campaign, Hill has broken program records for career doubles, home runs and RBIs. She also became the NCAA Division III Softball record holder for most bases on balls in a career. This season she sits in the top ten nationally with home runs and home runs per game and just outside of it in slugging percentage. She is also top 40 in on base percentage, RBIs and RBIs per game. This is the third season that Marcum has earned All-American honors, all on the first team. She becomes just the third Thunder player to earn the award three times, joining Hill and Carly Searles. The Goshen, Ind. native is one of the best hitters in the country again this season. She currently sits in the top five nationally in home runs and is top ten in home runs per game and slugging percentage. She is top 25 in runs batted in and RBI per game. She is currently tied atop the team stats with 16 homers while leading the team outright with a .969 slugging percentage, 58 hits and 19 doubles.
Lee is debuting on the All-American lists as a first team selection. The Cottage Grove, Wis. native saved her best work for last this season. Defensively she continues to be one of the best in the country, recording just one error in centerfield for a .985 fielding percentage. Offensively, the senior found her power this year, recording career highs in RBIs, hits, slugging percentage and home runs. Her home run total is already 10 higher than her previous best. She is currently top five nationally in home runs and top ten in home runs per game and slugging percentage. She is also top 20 in RBIs and RBIs per game.
