FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Trine University's Emma Lee has been named this week's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Position Player of the Week following a great week at the plate in a pair of conference doubleheaders.

This is senior's third MIAA Athlete of the Week award during her career. It is the second time this season that a member of the team has taken home the honor. It is the second time this season she has earned a weekly honor, after taking home a Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week award two weeks ago.

The Cottage Grove, Wis. native was once again a menace in the batters' box this past week. The team finished with four convincing wins during the stretch, two against Saint Mary's College and Albion College. The team took down the Belles with 17-2 and 6-3 scores on Thursday before hosting the Britons on Saturday and handing them 13-3 and 19-1 losses.

Lee finished the four games with a team high 1.615 slugging percentage. She had seven hits in 13 at-bats for a .538 batting average, fifth best on the team. Of those hits four were homers, which tied for most on the team, and another was a triple. She had 10 RBIs which was again tied for most on the squad. She also added one stolen base.
