ANGOLA, Ind. – For the second time this season, Johnson-Kuhao Ho'okano-Pelekai has been selected as the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League's Offensive Player of the Week. This is his third time earning MCVL Player of the Week honors in his career.
 
Ho'okano-Pelekai led the Thunder to a pair of crucial MCVL wins last week as Trine remains atop the MCVL standings. In a pair of three set wins over Mount Union and Baldwin Wallace the senior blasted 26 kills on .362 hitting he added 16 digs, three aces, and three blocks.
 
The Thunder continue MCVL play this weekend with a pair of matches at Spalding University (Ky.) and Wabash College.
