ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's and women's bowling teams have both qualified for the 2026 USBC National Championships. This is the third time in program history the men's team has qualified and the first appearance for the women's team.

Last season the men's team placed fifth, narrowly missing the final four. Trine's other appearance came in the 2023 season where the team finished in eighth place.

The women's team earned their first ever bid to the national championships with a fourth-place finish at last weekend's USBC Sectionals with a total of 12,023 pins across 64 baker games in two days.

The men's team finished second with 12,901 pins in 64 baker games and came in just 13 pins behind team champions McKendree University.

The USBC Championships are scheduled for April 11-18 at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
